First Kick
I was sitting at my computer desk and working on my writing assignments when I felt the first ever kick in my womb after I gulped down a glass full of chocolate milk. To be honest, it took me a minute or two to realize what just happened. I called my mom from another room to tell her about the kick and her face lit up with such a bright smile.
Being a mom is one of the most rewarding roles that I have ever had as a woman. Remember the oozing happiness we felt with that first kick, first smile, or first giggle? Those feelings cannot be described in words. I have captured all her precious memories on my camera and I know I am going to cherish these forever.
Motherhood has no fixed set of rules and we all learn to be the best version of ourselves with each passing day. I have changed as a person since I became a mom. From being a tad bit more patient to learning how to cook healthy food, motherhood has taught me a lot.
