There is nothing which we moms take lightly when it comes to our kids. From their clothes to their toys everything requires hours of internet search and information before we buy it. Finding a toy for my toddler from a toy store was nothing less than a hurricane task for me. It often got so overwhelming when I stepped into a toy store, I felt like buying almost anything and everything. I use to get confused and then often bought toys that weren’t really worth spending money.
After a bit of an internet search, I realized what kind of toys were required for my toddler. I started buying toys that helped to enhance her creativity and also kept her attention intact. Here are few tips & toys that I loved and hopefully, this will help you decide toys for your kid as well:
Toddlers learn by exploring and doing things on their own
Toys and play give your child an opportunity to develop and practice new skills. Buy toys that help in increasing their creativity quotient. Open-ended toys are a good option for your kid to learn new things. For example Puzzles, building blocks, Interlocking blocks etc.
Pick toys that help in increasing child imagination
Look for toys that your child can use as he develops and acts out stories. Pretend play is a good option as it helps in building language and literacy skills. Toys which help children problem-solve, learn spatial relations (how things fit together), and develop fine motor skills (use of the small muscles in the hands and fingers). For example toy-food, blocks and trains or trucks etc.
Keep few toys that will help your child practice current physical skills and also helps in developing new ones
Kids are active and it is important to buy toys that help in their physical strength. Choosing toys for children might seem simple, but there are a lot of factors to take into consideration. For example tricycle, plastic bowling sets bicycles etc.
We all have had the experience of buying a toy that our child plays with for two days and never touches again. You can guard against that by looking for toys that can be fun at different developmental stages. Here are few options for toys for your toddler:
Aurodo Pocket 4D Zoo
My toddler absolutely loves this. Kids can view different Zoo animals at the same time. Pocket Zoo 4D has a special feature where children can touch the animals and see how they behave. This improves recall of animal and their behavior among children.
This Special Game bring Real Looking animals live at home upon scanning the game cards with mobile/tablet app. Educate children and help them visualize with real looking animals.
We absolutely love this game. She has few favorites animals which she loves to watch. She has learned the name of animals and how they behave. She recalls the animal sounds after watching these animals.

These are fun and educational. It helps develop child’s mind and thinking ability and train their hand-eye-coordination and hand flexibility by their own operation.
Puzzles are wonderful you to keep your kid busy and assists language skills as the child listen and follow instructions and talk about what they are doing. Puzzles are also an important educational learning tool for toddlers and young children as they provide many skills and mental learning benefits and opportunities.
Similar to the way hand-eye coordination is achieved, puzzles provide the opportunity for children to develop fine motor skills. Puzzles are also an important educational learning tool for toddlers.
