‘If we were having coffee…….’ #writetribe

My take on prompt today is little different than what I had planned in the first place. I wanted to write about the people in my life whom I have met and share a strong bond with but then, I have an option to actually tell them over the cup of coffee (I do it quite often, ask my loved ones J ).

So, I decided to write about someone with whom I did not have an opportunity to meet yet. I thought about writing “on a coffee date with Shahrukh” too but then I wanted to keep my feelings in the closet till I actually meet him (I know, one day I will). After thinking for a while, I zeroed down my list to these beautiful ladies I met during my blogging journey.

Zainab (@slimexpectation):

If we were having a coffee, I would tell you how beautiful you are inside and out. There are few people like you, who are genuinely honest with their feelings. From our first interaction over the messages, I knew this story is going to go long way. Not many in this blogging world are openly ready to help someone looking for suggestions but you my friend are different.

I am yet to meet someone as polite as you in this virtual world of web and so down to earth (even after meeting Shahrukh, I cannot tell you how jealous I am feeling after looking at that pic Z hehe hehe)

Dipika (@gleefulblogger):

There isn’t a better day to write this for you babes. Happy birthday!!! A woman with beautiful smile. There is no dull moment when you are around (I mean the WhatsApp group. of course!).

If we were having a coffee, I would tell you how much an encouraging word from a fellow blogger means the world to a newbie. You make people feel comfortable in a jiffy and your happiness is contagious. You have a perfect blend of wit and passion in your posts. I am a fan of your short fiction stories. Oh! I love your new tattoo (have tons of question, will chat about it).

The list has a couple of gorgeous ladies but due to the time crunch and my baby’s short nap schedule, I am going to wrap this over here. Thank you so much @writetribe for this wonderful experience of 7 days writing.

I am taking part in The Write Tribe Festival of Words #6. This blog (Day 7) is written for 6th Write Tribe Festival Of Words – #WTFOW hosted by Write tribe. This Festival involves writing on 7 days on 7 different prompts.

  1. This is such a nice way to take on a prompt and send across some love over virtual coffee dates to those whom we seldom meet. Kudos to you!
(Also, this is a great way to push the ‘writer’s block” on the sidelines!)
Keep writing and sharing love. Add to such series some guest posts too.
